The 2011 Canadian National Championships were held from May 24-28 at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Format of Competition[]
All participating gymnasts, including those who were not part of a team, participated in a qualification round. The results of this competition determined which individuals participated in the remaining competitions, which included:
- The all-around competition, in which only the sixteen highest scoring individuals in the all-around competed.
- The event finals, in which the eight highest scoring individuals on each apparatus competed.
There were no restrictions to the number of athletes per team who could compete in the all-around or event finals. The juniors and seniors competed together, but were scored in separate divisions.
