The 2013 Mexico Open was held on November 28-30 in Acapulco, Mexico.
Format of Competition[]
Two events were held per day, with vault and uneven bars on day one, and balance beam and floor exercise on day two. The combined total from both days of competition would be the gymnast's all-around score.
For the first time, there was also a junior tournament, separate from the seniors, where the team and all-around competition were contested, with the "two-per-country" rule in place in the all-around.
