The 2014 French National Championships were held at the Centre Omnisports Jacques Clouché in Boé, France from April 5-6. Gymnasts from Great Britain, Ukraine, Netherlands, Russia, Greece, Italy, and Spain also competed in the team competition.
Format of Competition[]
All participating gymnasts, including those who were not part of a team, participated in a qualification round, which also served as the team and all-around final. Each team could only have three gymnasts perform on each apparatus, and all three scores counted toward the team total. Although the seniors and juniors competed together in the all-around, the all-around results were split into senior and junior divisions. The results of this competition determined which individuals participated in the event finals, in which the eight highest scoring individuals on each apparatus competed.
