The 2015 National Youth Games of the People's Republic of China, formerly known as the Intercity Games, were held in Fuzhou, Fujian from October 18 - 27.
Format of Competition[]
All participating gymnasts, including those who were not part of a team, participated in a trampoline test. To get the "compulsory" 5.0 difficulty the gymnast has to perform a backwards triple twisting layout and a front 1.5 twisting layout. Every extra half twist adds .3 in the D-score. These results will count for 20% in the rest of the competition. Following that, each gymnast participated in a qualification round. The results of this competition determined which teams and individuals participated in the remaining competitions, which included:
- The team competition, in which the eight highest scoring teams from qualifications competed. Each team of six gymnasts could have six gymnasts perform on each apparatus, and five scores counted toward the team total.
- The all-around competition, in which only the twenty-four highest scoring individuals in the all-around competed. Each province was limited to only two gymnasts in the all-around final.
- The event finals, in which the eight highest scoring individuals on each apparatus competed. Each province was limited to two gymnasts in each apparatus final.
