The 2018 Chinese Individual National Championships were held in Xuchang, Henan from September 1-16. The senior competition took place from September 4-7, while the junior competition took place from September 8-10. Gymnasts born in 2003 could choose whether to compete in the junior or senior session.
Competition Format[]
All participating gymnasts, including those who were not part of a team, participated in a qualification round, which also served as the all-around final. The results of this competition determined which individuals participated in the event finals, in which the eight highest scoring individuals on each apparatus competed. Each province was limited to two gymnasts in each apparatus final.
