The 2020 Pan American Gymnastics Championships were held at the Parque Olímpico in Rio de Janeiro from June 4-6. The event will serve as individual qualifications for the 2020 Olympics, and is the last Olympic qualifying event for North, Central, and South American gymnasts.
Format of Competition[]
All participating gymnasts, including those who were not part of a team, participated in a qualification round, which also served as the all-around and event finals. The results of this competition determined which teams participated in the team final.

Controversy[]
- Argentina's Martina Dominici tested positive for a banned substance. She initially won vault gold, all-around and floor exercise silver, team and uneven bars bronze, and placed fourth on balance beam, but her results were subsequently canceled.
