Chantysha Netteb (born June 8) is an elite Dutch gymnast. She's the 2012 Junior European Vault Champion.

Career[]

Netteb made her international debut at the 2012 European Championships, helping the Dutch team to a sixth place finish, placing 22nd in the all-around, and winning the vault.

Netteb's senior debut came at the following year's European Championships. She hoped to repeat her success from last year, but fell on one of her vaults and finished sixth. Her compatriot Noël Van Klaveren won the silver medal. In September, she won the vault and placed tenth in the all-around at the Turnen Dames Interland, and silver on vault at the Osijek World Cup. Netteb was later named to the Dutch team for the World Championships.

In qualifications, Netteb competed in the fifth subdivision. She qualified in eighth to the vault final, but missed the all-around final. She performed fifth but injured her knee when she fell on her first vault and did not compete her second. She finished eighth. Upon being examined by the team doctor, Netteb was found to have torn her ACL and lateral menisces. She had surgery the following Tuesday.

In February 2015, Netteb returned to competition at the Sidijk Tournament, where she competed only on uneven bars.
