Gymnast Page

Gymnast pages require a lot of detail, particularly if the gymnast in question has competed a lot. In order to incorporate all of that, at least three pages need to be made. The first page to give the article tabs, and then the main tab and gallery tab pages. If and when videos of a gymnast's routines wind up on here, that's when a video tab page is added.

Basic Requirements[]

Who qualifies for a page?[]

Gymnasts that qualify for a page on this wiki follow one or more of the following criteria:

Has at least 20 links in the Wanted Pages list (click here)
Competed in at least 3 elite meets
Won an individual national championship (all-around or any event)
- Though elite qualifiers can be included in a gymnast's competitve history table, they can't be used to follow this criteria

Pages for J.O. gymnasts go here. Pages for a gymnast's NCAA career go here. Examples of gymnasts that don't qualify for a page and why:

Lily Pederson - A L10 gymnast that qualified elite but has not competed in elite competition
Casey Brown - A L10 gymnast that never competed in elite competition

If you have any questions about the criteria, ask an administrator.

Necessary Information[]

Each gymnast profile needs a MINIMUM of three things:

birth date
competition history
at least two photos

Extra things to enhance the gymnast's profile include:

a birth place
the gym where they train
their coach(es)
a link to their Twitter
their floor music
a video page
if the gymnast is from a country that does not use the Western alphabet in their main language (Russia, China, Japan, etc.), find their name transcribed in the alphabet of their native language, such as Cyrillic, Mandarin, Pinyin, Japanese, Hangul, etc.

Guidelines and Requirements[]

Categories that apply to the gymnast go here, not on their main page. At the very least, it must include their nationality category. You can find the full list of gymnast nationality categories here. If they've achieved a significant result internationally (World Championships, European Championships, Pan American Games, Asian Games, etc.) or have gone to the Olympics, those categories go here as well.
