Kosuge Mari (Japanese: 小菅麻里) (born December 16, 1975 in Tokyo, Japan) was a Japanese elite gymnast. She won 5 straight national championships and represented Japan at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and every World Championship from 1991 to 1995. She is best known for her difficult mount series on the balance beam (A layout step-out mount connected to two layout step-out's on the beam). After retiring from the sport, Mari was an assistant coach to the UCLA gymnastics team in 2001. One of her nicknames in Japan was 和製コマネチ, which means "japanese Comaneci".
