Junior Career[]

Stewart competed at Elite Canada in February 2020, where she won bronze in the all-around. She went on to make her international debut at the International Gymnix in Montreal. She won bronze on balance beam and placed fourth with her team and seventh in the all-around. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic cut the season short soon after that.

Senior Career[]

2021[]

With the pandemic pushing the Olympics back by a year, Stewart became eligible for Tokyo. She showed tremendous improvements at Elite Canada in February, which was held virtually for safety reasons. She won floor exercise gold, all-around and balance beam silver, and uneven bars bronze. In May, she competed at the Canadian National Championships, which were also held virtually. She won uneven bars gold, all-around and balance beam silver, and placed fourth on floor exercise. In June, Stewart was named to the Canadian Olympic team.[1]

Tokyo Olympics[]

Stewart competed in the fourth subdivision, starting on vault. Canada placed tenth in qualifications, while she placed fifty-eighth in the all-around, and did not advance to the individual events.

2022[]

Stewart continued to compete after the Olympics, starting her season at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy, helping Canada win team bronze and individually placing fifth on uneven bars. While she was in Italy, the videos she had submitted for the virtual Elite Canada were judged. She only competed on balance beam, placing seventeenth. In May, she competed at the Canadian National Championships, winning balance beam gold, all-around bronze, and placing sixth on uneven bars and ninth on floor exercise. In July, she competed at the Pan American Championships, helping Canada win a team bronze medal, as well as qualify a full team to the World Championships.

2023[]

Stewart began her season at Elite Canada in January, winning silver on uneven bars. In March, she competed at the Stuttgart World Cup, helping Canada place sixth in the team final. In late April, she competed at the Cairo World Cup, placing fifth on uneven bars. She went on to compete at the Canadian National Championships, winning gold on uneven bars and silver in the all-around. That fall, she competed at the Szombathely World Cup in Hungary, placing sixth on floor and seventh on balance beam. In October, she competed at the World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. She only competed three events for Canada and did not make the event finals, and Canada did not make the team final. Later that month, she competed at the Pan American Games in Chile, winning team and balance beam bronze, and placing fifth in the all-around and sixth on uneven bars.

2024[]
