Junior Career[]

2018[]

Blakely made her elite debut at the American Classic in early July, winning bronze in the all-around. At the U.S. Classic later that month, she won bronze on vault and placed sixth in the all-around, ninth on floor, tenth on beam, and nineteenth on uneven bars. At her first National Championships, she again won bronze on vault, with an additional silver on floor, and placed fourth in the all-around, fifth on bars, and eighth on beam. She was subsequently named to the National Team.

2019[]

Blakely made her international debut at the International Gymnix in Canada, alongside her sister, who competed in the senior division. She won team, vault, and uneven bars gold, and all-around bronze. She was later named to the U.S. team for the inaugural Junior World Championships, where she won team bronze and placed fourth on bars, fifth on floor, and seventh in the all-around.

In July, she competed at the U.S. Classic, winning gold on floor exercise, silver on vault, and placing fourth in the all-around and fourteenth on bars and beam. In August, she competed at the U.S. National Championships, winning silver on beam and bronze on floor, and placing fourth in the all-around, sixth on vault, and eighth on uneven bars.

2020[]

In February, Blakely started the year off strong by sweeping the WOGA Classic. She was later named to the U.S. team for the International Gymnix in March. There, she won team and all-around gold, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam silver, and floor exercise bronze.

Senior Career[]

2021[]

With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing the Tokyo Olympics back by a year, Blakely became eligible to make the Olympic team. She made her senior debut at the Winter Cup in late February, competing on balance beam, where she won gold, and floor exercise, where she placed seventh. She competed at the American Classic, winning the competition. At the U.S. Classic in May, she fell on balance beam, but won the bronze medal on uneven bars. She placed seventh in the all-around. She also placed seventh at the U.S. Championships in June, making the senior national team. She qualified to the U.S. Olympic trials, but injured herself on vault during warmups, and withdrew.

2022[]

Blakely returned to competition at the WOGA Classic. She competed on balance beam, where she won gold, and floor exercise, where she won silver. In late February, Blakely competed at the Winter Cup, winning all-around and floor exercise silver, balance beam bronze, and placing seventh on uneven bars.

Blakely made her senior international debut at the Stuttgart World Cup in March, winning team gold and placing sixth in the all-around. In July, she competed at the Pan American Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She helped Team USA win silver in the team final, and qualify a full team to the World Championships. Individually, Blakely won all-around and floor exercise bronze, and placed fourth on uneven bars and seventh on balance beam.

In August, she competed at the U.S. National Championships, where she placed fifth on uneven bars, sixth in the all-around and on floor exercise, and ninth on balance beam. She was named to the U.S. team for the World Championships in Liverpool, qualifying to the balance beam final and helping Team USA qualify first to the team final. Although she fell on beam in the team final, USA was able to overcome that to win gold. In the balance beam final, she fell again and finished fifth.

2023[]

Blakely competed at the WOGA Classic in February, only competing on uneven bars and balance beam, winning gold on both events. She continued to compete on uneven bars and balance beam at the Winter Cup later that month, winning gold on balance beam and placing eighth on uneven bars. At the U.S. Classic in early August, she competed on every event except floor exercise. She won silver on bars and bronze on vault and balance beam. At the U.S. National Championships, she won vault, uneven bars, and balance beam silver, placed fourth in the all-around, and twenty-first on floor exercise. She was named to the team for the World Championships, where she helped Team USA to a seventh consecutive World team title.
