GYMNASTICS SCANDAL ROUND-UP:
- After a six-year investigation, Anna Li has been suspended for nine months and Wu Jiani has been suspended for a year by SafeSport.
In other news:
- Amalia Puflea has retired.
- Ana Maria Barbosu has committed to Stanford. She will be the first Romanian National Team member to compete in NCAA.
- USAG is hiring a new Developmental Lead for the WAG National Team. The position is currently being held by Dan Baker.

Happy New Year!
- The 2025 Junior World Championships will be hosted in the Philippines. It’s important to note that Junior Worlds will overlap with EYOF this year, so it’s entirely possible that some countries will only send athletes to one competition and not both of them.
- Agnes Keleti has passed away at age 103.
- Jessica Gadirova sustained two minor injuries while recovering from her ACL tear, but says she’ll be back competing this year.

- Former German National Team member Catalina Santos has come forward about the abuse she endured training in Stuttgart. Tabea Alt has backed her up, as have both Kim Bui and Elisabeth Seitz.

- Maellyse Brassart has retired.
- Well. Patrick Kiens and Daymon Jones have been poached from Romania to take over WCC since the Landis are coaching at Georgia.
- The FIG has increased the delegation size for 2025 Worlds. It was originally 3 athletes each for both MAG and WAG, with only two up per event. They’re reverting to the format used at the last post-Olympic Worlds.

- Sweden’s Tonya Paulsson has switched nationalities to represent Taiwan, where her mother is from.
- The 2025 U.S. National Championships will be hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana.
